Ethan Matera, our friend, classmate, and a 2026 senior at Conemaugh Township, was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL) in May 2025. His prognosis is very good. However, the journey to healing is long. He undergoes intense chemotherapy for six to eight months and then monthly for two years. Each treatment takes place in Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh to battle this very aggressive cancer. Spirit Gear is available for purchase prior to the game to support the Matera family.
